My journey with hair began after doing a semester at ASU. I was completely miserable. My mother saw that my artistic free-spirited side was not being nurtured in that environment. So, she made an appointment for me to tour Carsten Institute, which was an Aveda salon. It is a very well known European style of learning and owned by the very well know German stylist Carsten. I was not sure what to expect when I went there, but the second I walked in and smelled all the herbal natural products I knew this was where I needed to be. I was so inspired by watching these students and knew that I belonged.

After I finished school at Carsten’s, I worked as an assistant at a beautiful salon in chandler and studied Redken color. I learned many types of extension techniques and found that I had a passion for bridal hair and styling. After a super busy day in the salon, they threw me to the wolves and had me take clients after only being an assistant for three months. They saw the potential I had and put me on the floor a week later. That moment really gave me the confidence I needed and I continued to take classes to further my education.

After about 5 years of working for other people, I decided it was time I started something on my own. I went on to rent a studio and also start a bridal hair and makeup duo that was nominated for the best hair and makeup team in the valley for 8 years in a row. For the last 11 years, I continued working in my salon and doing bridal hair, but was losing the passion for working alone in a studio.

After having my kids, the wedding business was no longer something I could keep up with. I began to dream of something different. Then along came Karla. An incredible hair stylist with more passion and talent in her little finger than most stylists I had ever met. We began to dream of a place of our own where we could make a creative space with natural healthy products. Our vision was a salon where we could not only work but educate our clients on proper hair maintenance, inspire each other as stylists, and create a space that people can’t wait to come to and feel better when they leave than when they came through the door.

I truly believe this salon is the best environment I’ve ever worked in and I am so great all to have co-created something so magical.

My journey with hair started with getting licensed in 2012 at 18 years old. For over a decade, My love and passion for making people feel beautiful, and education on current trends has always been put first. I strive to offer my clients a comfortable and memorable experience to reach your current hair goals. I have studied under brands with Matrix, Redken, CHI, Goldwell, Brazilian Blowout, Keratin Complex, Johnny B, and Hair pHix. I specialize with Haircutting and Clipper cuts, Blonding/Highlights, Gray Blending/Coverage, Vivids, Perms, and Wedding Styling/Makeup. I look forward to helping every hair type and client that sits in my chair!
